UK-based · accounting background · documenting money, travel, and life systems · long-term focus

Designing life deliberately through systems, routines, and trade-offs. This pillar focuses on decision-making, priorities, and how daily structure shapes long-term outcomes.

Building financial foundations through tracking, investing, and long-term thinking. This pillar documents real decisions, constraints, and systems rather than prescriptive advice.

Using travel both as lived experience and as a way to test assumptions. This pillar documents places, moments, and lessons as they’re experienced – not guides or highlights, but what travel reveals when it’s actually lived.

A small selection of recent writing that reflects how I approach life, money, and travel.

A reflective account of spending time in Mathare after 15 months of working on the project from a distance.

A reflection on my first solo trip to Marrakech – why I went, what surprised me, and how acting alone changed how I move through experiences.

A quieter trip, revisited with intention. What repetition reveals once novelty wears off.

I’m Brandon. I’m not interested in a conventional life, and I’m not pretending to have everything figured out.

I’m building toward more freedom of time, location, and choice – while studying accounting, working in finance, and learning through travel as it actually happens. This site exists to document that process honestly: the systems I’m building, the decisions I’m making, and what those choices reveal over time.

I write to think clearly, not to perform. If you want the longer version: where I’m coming from, what I’m aiming toward, and why I’m documenting this publicly – you can read more below.

All essays and reflections, organised by theme.

More context on who I am, what I’m building, and why I’m documenting it.
